The church began to be built before the First World War, consecrated in 1926, was badly damaged by the earthquake in 1963, after which it was demolished in the early 1970s. In its place, a city shopping center was built ("Gradi Trgovsky Centar Skopme", GTZ). Restored in 2012 in a different form near the old place.
