Looking southeast across Central Avenue (with streetcar tracks present) near 41st Street (far right), where a group of people have gathered. These storefronts, later demolished, contain Newman's Shoe Factory at 4072, another business at 4074, and a furniture store at 4076. Year later, Central Inn Motel came to occupy this site.
