Park Ave., west side, south from a point slightly northward, showing (left background) the New York Central Building on East 45th Street, which breaks-up the continuity of Park Ave. Traffic passes around this building and through the arched openings to resume its course southward on Park Ave. at East 41st Street. The fenced in block (from East 54th to East 53rd Streets) seen in view No. 1 is now occupied by a 1-story building to be used for stores. February 7, 1937.
