Looking south on Broadway. The Victor Clothing Company at 242 So. Broadway is visible. A closer look at the mural shows a man in a tux and the head of a woman, which is now gone. The mural is titled "The Bride and Groom" and is painted on the north wall of the Victor Clothing Co. building. The five-story mural, painted by artist and muralist Kent Twitchell from 1973-1976, measures 70'h x 70'w, and was painted with latex and acrylic on masonry it took him three years to complete it. Carlos Ortiz, then owner of the Monarch Bridal Shop commissioned Bride and Groom for $ 5,000 when he was a tenant of the building. Monarch's bridal and tuxedo wear was located on the 2nd floor of the building. I could not find the angle.
