Tours - "The Canon House of St Martin" (XVIII Century), before street realignment of 1900

View from within the garden onto: (a) left: the greenhouse (which sill exists today), (b) middle: the house on rue Nericault Destouches side (which will be changed) & (c) far end: the house leading to the 14 Juillet square & which still exists as same, This house, at its origins, was part of Saint Martin Cloisters, and therefore was then called "the Canon house of St Martin".This photo has been taken around 1897-1899, as a street realignment works will start in spring 1900 and the house's facade will have to move back about 3 or 4 meters in recess.
