The section of the left -wing little arm from the island bridge to the Gertrauden Bridge is called Friedrichsgracht after 1740. The view goes in the southwest direction to the Roßstraßenbrücke (1899-1901 new building), which was widened in 1876). After 1681, the streets Neu-Kölln on the water (from 1931 Märkische Ufer) and Friedrichsgracht (right) are created as a banks, on which many small businesses are located. The cellar necks (pre -built cellar inputs) on some of the 17th and 18th centuries indicate this use. However, some houses on the right in the background are only laid down in 1971.
