In the architectural design of city highways, squares, parks, a prominent place belongs to monumental sculpture. In honor of the victory over fascist Germany, in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Great October Revolution, monuments to the victims of the 1915 genocide, the creator of the Armenian script M. Mashtots and others were erected. The monument to the victims of the 1915 genocide is located on the Tsitsernakaberd Upland. In 1950, a park was laid out on a rocky hill, which has now turned into one of the largest green areas of the capital. The memorial complex consists of 12 pylons arranged in a circle and slightly inclined towards the center. In the center is the eternal flame. The basalt wall, on which bas-reliefs depicting the events of this tragedy will be carved, is somewhat to the side.
