The origin of the estate dates back to the 11th century. It is documented that in 1070 it was transferred to the Abbey of Noyers. In the XIV century. The castle was built according to a plan that has remained virtually unchanged to this day. And in the 17th century. the building acquired its current appearance. Previously, there was an underground passage more than 800 m long, wide enough for a horse-drawn carriage to travel along it, it led from the castle to the Haute-Claire farm. In the 18th century. The chapel (XIV century) was reconstructed, the altar wall was decorated with frescoes. During the Revolution, the castle was nationalized. Now it's a hotel.
