Cuba > Havana > La Habana Vieja > HavanaThe Carrara marble statue of Queen Isabella II was first installed in Central Park in 1857, removed in 1868 during the Glorious Revolution, and returned to its place in 1874 after the restoration of the monarchy. Finally, in 1899, the monument was finally removed and sent to a museum in Cardenas. A monument to Jose Marti was erected in its place.
