Another Leiden almshouse, built on the principle of a closed courtyard. The shelter has existed since 1730 and was founded by the merchant Barent Van Namen. In 1915, all the old buildings were demolished, and according to the project of the municipal architect Willem Cornelis Mulder, this complex was built in the so -called The style of neo -ostorism.
