V-OS tower houses at the intersection of Zábřeh vodárna." Anyone who had the opportunity to observe the construction of V-OS tower houses in the 1960s will surely agree with me that the construction process was very interesting and quite different from the rest of the panel construction. Construction began with building of the monolithic reinforced concrete core, the core of the square plan, in which the staircase, two elevator shafts and common corridors are located. The core was concreted with sliding formwork up to the final height of the house, during this phase of the construction of the V-OS tower houses you could see an unusually high and narrow prism. Only after the core was concreted did the rest of the house - the apartments - begin to be built. The part with the apartments is made up of a prefabricated reinforced concrete frame. The frame is roofed with ceiling panels with a length of six meters, which are of an advanced construction (pre-tensioned with electric heating).
