This photo was taken on March 23, 1925 on the west side of 8th avenue looking toward 119 street. The signs in the windows advertise "Corned spare ribs" at 18 cents/lb, "Tripe" also at 18 cents/lb, "toilet paper 5/25 cents and "sliced cod fish" at 14 cents/lb amoung other items.
