The northern façade of a commercial building containing Aames Employment (right), located at 5301 Wilshire Boulevard, and a sandwich shop (center). Designed by Welton Becket and originally built in 1949 as a restaurant, this structure was purchased in 1984 to become a Customer Service Center for Metro, the local transportation system for Los Angeles County. The car rental office seen on the left (foreground) was later demolished.
