Looking across the street towards a small shopping center in the 1500 block of Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica. The decorative Art Deco neon sign for Beacon Cleaners (at 1508) is seen prominently in the foreground, on the lower right is another neon sign for Wilshire Pet Supplies (at 1502), and in the background is a building that is a part of what is now known as Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital. All of these structures were later demolished and replaced.
