The following two photos taken a little closer to the Dnieper, on the boulevard between the streets of the Upper and Lower Shaft, in the quarter between the streets and Konstantinovskaya Mezhyhirska (junction with the latter visible in the background). This section of two streets in the middle of the boulevard was the only one in Kiev, with left-hand traffic trams. This scheme came here after opening the metro station, at the turn of the 70s and 80s, to accommodate a one-stop for two lines at once.
