The Old Main Synagogue of Munich, built over 4 years, was opened on September 16, 1887, in the presence of top officials of the city. On June 9, 1938, the demolition of the synagogue building began after the Jewish community was faced with a strict condition in early June 1938. the sale of land under the synagogue at a fixed price of 100,000 Reichsmarks.
