In 1983, during a time of celebration of the 200th anniversary of Sevastopol on the street Heroes of Sevastopol was opened a memorial complex in honor of the heroes podvodnikov.Avtory existing architectural and sculptural composition - Honored Artist of Ukraine Siskin SA, honored architect of Ukraine AI and Bagley AL Schaeffer. It consists of two parts: the two-figure sculpture commander and signalman standing on the pedestal, in a stylized form cuttings of the submarine, and the horizontal stele with two reliefs "Memory" and "exploit". On the stele inscription: "To the participants of the Great Patriotic War - fearless Vityaz depths of the sea", but here are the submarines Black Sea Fleet. Sculpture composition height of 9.6 m made of copper sheet, granite stele - 20 × 14 meters.
