I’m not sure of the correct setting of the point. Parthenon (dr. Greek Παρθενών - pure virgin) is a monument of ancient architecture, an ancient Greek temple located on the Acropolis of Athens, the main temple in ancient Athens, dedicated to the patroness of this city and all Attica, the goddess Athena Virgin (Ἀθηνᾶ Παρθένος). Built in 447-438 BC. e. architect Kallikratom according to the project of Iktin and decorated in 438-431 BC. e. led by Phidias under the rule of Pericles. It is currently in a dilapidated state, restoration work is underway.
