Despite the Cross of Saint Andrew, it is difficult to recognize in this unfortunate Texan an Air Force plane. This AT-6D (C.6-29, c/n 88-17991, ex 42-86210) appears to have suffered a slight accident, based on its bent propeller and semi-folded right leg, among other damages. With its visible North American 'star-and-bar' it is another candidate for the Holocaust, for the display of firefighting equipment in a JPA at the Cuatro Vientos Base.
