Park Avenue, west side, north from East 60th St., showing the cleared 60th-61st Street frontage and apartment buildings north of same. The prominent 12 story white structure is No. 540 Park Avenue (erected 1908) and is at the N. W. corner of E. 61st Street. Adjoining to the north is the 17 story apartment building, No. 550 Park Ave., a structure over shadowing the Colonial facaded Colony Club. December 21, 1930
