The statue of General William Tecumseh Sherman on horseback being led by a winged figure of Nike. Past this can be seen several buildings on 5th Avenue, including the Netherland Hotel and the Van Norden Trust Company. Several horse-drawn carriages are waiting in front of the Netherland.
