Statue of the Republic, erected brothers Maurice in 1880 (opening - 1883), is a statue of Marianne (symbol of France) - a female figure wearing a laurel wreath to the olive branch of peace in his raised hand, at the feet of which, around the pedestal, settled with female figures torches and banners in their hands, symbolizes the freedom, equality and fraternity, and at the bottom - a bronze lion in the bas-reliefs surrounded by displaying the events from the history of France.
