Look at the Seine from Pont de Bercy. Right to see the bell tower of the Gare de Lyon, which is now covered by modern houses. The building on the left next to it was the hydroelectric plant that supplied the Paris Metro with electricity. Today there is the seat of the RATP at it's place, the operator of public transport in Paris and surrounding areas.
