A church was built in the Psychiatric Hospital. The temple in the style of Armenian churches with a separate bell tower was developed by the architect Freddes. On August 4, 1904, the construction site was solemnly consecrated, and already in October of that year, construction work was completed. The new church was consecrated in honor of St. Alexy in memory of the birth of Tsarevich Alexei, son of Tsar Nicholas II. In 1928, the church acquired the Catholic Church, and carried out a reconstruction to the needs of the Latin rite. It is worth noting that most of the wall murals have been preserved inside.
