A church was built in the Psychiatric Hospital. The temple in the style of Armenian churches with a separate bell tower was developed by the architect Freddes. On August 4, 1904, the construction site was solemnly consecrated, and already in October of that year, construction work was completed. The new church was consecrated in honor of St. Alexy in memory of the birth of Tsarevich Alexei, son of Tsar Nicholas II.
