The first organizational meeting of the ILO was held in Berlin on October 9, 1945. The Palace of Justice in Nuremberg, where the MVT met for months, was not chosen by chance: firstly, it was A. Hitler's favorite city and was a stronghold of fascism: and secondly, there were no completely destroyed areas in Nuremberg, as in Berlin and other cities , although it was badly destroyed. There were necessary buildings for the court and the prison, premises for the tribunal, its apparatus, witnesses, representatives of the press and the public. And for this, the building of the Palace of Justice was best suited, which more or less met the requirements for such a large-scale and lengthy trial.
