The bombardment of the Cathedral of September 20, 1914 g.Reymssky Cathedral (fr. Notre-Dame de Reims) was built in the XIII century, that is, later Notre Dame and Chartres Cathedral, but much earlier than cathedrals in Strasbourg, Amiens and Bove.Reymssky Cathedral is one of the most famous examples of Gothic art in France thanks to its architecture and sculptural compositions and is included in UNESCO World heritage list. Starting from the Middle Ages until the XIX century, the cathedral was the coronation site of nearly all French monarchs.
