At the same time as the Germans, the French-reformed community receives the northern bare on the French road of Elector Friedrich III. gift. After the sovereign also provides most of the building material, the foundation stone is laid for the church on July 1, 1701 and the inauguration on March 1, 1705. The draft for the church comes from Jean Louis Cayat based on the destroyed Huguenot Church in Charenton, the execution leads Abraham Quesnay. According to designs by Karl von Gontard, the coated tower was created in 1780-85 under the direction of Georg Christian Ungers together with the opposite twin building of the new church. In 1883 the outer building was renovated and the interior of the French reformed church was partially renovated. According to plans by Otto March in 1904/05, a fundamental neo-baroque redesign of the nave took place. In May 1945, serious building complex was restored in 1978-83, the tower opened in 1987.
