Remains of the Temple of Apollo portal end of the I century are situated on the western outskirts of Riez, and once there was the center of the Roman city of Colonia Julia Augusta Apollinarium Reiorum. Four gray granite monolithic columns topped Corinthian capitals of white marble, still maintained rich cut architrave formed from limestone.
