Monument to the liberator. The Cubans say that if the sculpture is turned face to the sea, then on the monument the liberator of Cuba, if the rider is depicted face to land, then this is the invader. This monument is dedicated to Antonio Maceo Grajales - one of the leaders of the struggle of the Cuban people for independence from Spanish domination. The monument is located on the Mamona (the rider and the horse are located with the back to the sea).
