Fontaine de Mars

The "Mars Fountain" in the Rue St. Dominique in Paris, near the Eiffel Tower. It was built around 1806 and shows on the side facing the road the god of war Mars and the goddess of health Hygie. The name probably refers to the nearby Champs de Mars. Next to it is the small bistro "Fontaine de Mars". In 2009, Barrack and Michelle Obama went here for a private dinner.
