Monument medieval humanist E.Dole, executed in this square, was delivered in 1889. Destroyed in 1942 GS came to power in France, the Vichy government, under pressure from the fascist administration was made a lot of decisions that changed the face of the French capital. Part of the copper, and the truth, went for spraying vineyards. Statues were destroyed by the humanists and philosophers.
