Madison Avenue, south from 32nd Street. On S.E. corner a building for the Susquehanna Silk Mills is being erected on the Cockcroft property, formerly occupied by two old residences. On west side, may be seen the Remsen Building on S.W. corner of 32nd Street and the Backer Building on N.W. corner of 31st Street, on site of an old apartment house of the 1880's. 1916.
