The original church was commissioned during 1723 - 1728 by Count Jerome Joseph Wallenstein on the site of a medieval shrine. The church was facing rectangular building with a boat and indented three sided ended presbytery. Facades were divided lizénovými frames and rectangular, segmental arched windows.
