The Martine Palace arose in the second half of the 16th century. as a result of the reconstruction of three Gothic buildings. In 1583, it became the property of the Martinitz family. At the beginning of the 17th century Yaroslav Borzhita from Martinits, one of the governors of the Czech Republic, who in 1618 became a victim of the so-called. "Defenestration" (was thrown out of the window of the office of the Prague Castle), rebuilt the palace. Recently, the palace was restored and adapted under the office of the chief architect of Prague.
