The castle was built in the 1770s. on the site of the former medieval destroyed. In the second pol.XIX in. Castle bought Havre rich industrialist Ernest Dubosc, who added the tall towers. Around 1900, the building was partially modified in neo-Renaissance style.During WWII the building was damaged - at first it was used as a barracks by the Germans, and then served as housing for the allied troops. After 1998 the castle again became privately owned, often referred to as the Château du Tilleul. Modern look
