The synagogue was built by the architect Edmund Kerner from 1911 to 1913. and, in fact, immediately became known as the Old Synagogue. The building was completely burned down in November 1938, survived during the Allied bombing, but, despite the efforts of the local community, the building's appearance was restored in the 80s. XX century, prayer services in the synagogue were no longer held. After the events of 1938, the building was abandoned, after the war it housed a museum of industrial design.... Currently the building is located the museum "Old Synagogue".
