Looking northeast across Wilshire Boulevard towards Dolores Restaurant, a dining spot with car-hop service. Located at 8531 Wilshire Boulevard, this restaurant opened in 1956, but was closed and razed in 1981 to make way for an office building. During its heyday the chain included a few locations, but only Dolores Restaurant & Bakery at 11407 Santa Monica Blvd. in West Los Angeles survives under new management.
