Villa Nova restaurant was relocated here beginning in the 1940s from Vine St. They served fine Italian food to the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland, John Wayne and Mickey Cohen just to mention a few. The Restaurant moved to Newport Beach in 1968. Since 1972 it was re-named The Rainbow Bar & Grill and has catered to every Rock N' Roll legend, such as Ozzy Osbourne, Guns N' Roses, (who filmed several music videos inside here, including "November Rain") and Lemmy Kilmister of Motorhead who went there at least 3 times a week. They have a life-size statue of him and a lounge outside dedicated in his name.
