Carr St junction with Cox Lane circa 1880. The store is James Redstone's which offered all manner of toys and fancy goods for a deposit of 1s.3d. Later became a general drapers store, Charles Kitton. The building was removed in 1907 and allegedly reconstructed for an exhibition in London in 1908.It was shipped to America. Sold to a builder for £ 75 on condition it was dismantled and removed within 21 days.
