Signs still advertise the ride ad the "World's greatest" for a price of 35 cents. Started in 1902, The Pike ran until 1979. The Cyclone Racer was created by Fred Church and built in 1930 by Harry Traver and was a dual-track (two trains could run at the same time), racing wooden roller coaster. It ceased operation in September 1968.
