The church was built in 1929 by architect. Egbert Reitsma. v style ekspressionizma. Organ 1892 different bright colors were originally used in the interior. They seemed Calvinists too provocative for the Protestant church, and they painted the traditional brown and white. In 2010-2015 gg. the church was restored, with the restoration of the original color
