Looking northwest from a construction site around Grand Avenue and 3rd Street (center) on Bunker Hill. The buildings seen, from left to right, are one of the Bunker Hill Towers, a condominum building, the Bunker Hill Tower, a condominium/office building, and the DWP Building. Photograph dated June, 1971. Both the Bunker Hill Tower and Bunker Hill Towers were designed by architect Robert E. Alexander in 1968. The DWP General Office Building was designed by Albert C. Martin and Associates and completed in 1964 at the cost of $26,700,000. In November 2000, in honor of longtime council member John Ferraro, the structure was renamed the John Ferraro Building.
