Northrup Institute, located at 1155 W. Arbor Vitae in Inglewood view is looking northwest. 93rd Street is at bottom left corner Arbor Vitae runs bottom right corner to middle left Isis Avenue is lower left to upper middle edge Aviation Boulevard is middle left to upper right the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway Company railroad tracks are middle left and curve toward the right. Northrup Institute was founded in 1942 by John K. Northrup and James L. McKinley as Northrup Aeronautical Institute. It was just called Northrup Institute by the time this photograph was taken.
