This wide view captures the Lake Arrowhead Lodge and an expanse of icy looking asphalt bordered with snow. The white square on the middle tree is a park-at-your-own-risk sign. Opened in 1923, as the Norman style Arlington Lodge, adjacent to the old Lake Arrowhead Village. Later known as the Lodge and the Lake Arrowhead Lodge, the building was torn down in December of 1976, and the site is now the Lake Arrowhead Resort.
