The building of the Amsterdam Philharmonic is Concerthebau. Concertgebau (Dutch Concertgebouw, is a concert hall in Amsterdam. The name translates from the Netherlands simply as “concert hall.” It was built in 1883-1888 by the architect Adolf Leonard van Gendt and opened on April 11, 1888 a concert from the works of Bach, Handel, Beethoven and Wagner.
