Aerial view of Richfield Oil Corp. research plant, located on Crescent Way and Muller Street and adjacent to the Santa Ana (5) Freeway in Anaheim view is looking north. Crescent Way is horizontally at upper middle, bending just below the 5 freeway, and paralleling it to upper right Muller Street starts at middle right (below the freeway), and runs vertically to bottom right the Santa Ana (5) Freeway is diagonally upper right to top left. Several large groves can be seen scattered throughout among the neighborhoods. Photograph dated November 14, 1956. The $2,500,000. research and development center of the Richfield Oil Corp. was built on a 20-acre site adjacent to the Santa Ana Freeway at the west edge of Anaheim, and opened on October 23, 1956. It comprises a laboratory building, administration building, pilot plant, engine laboratory building, shops and a warehouse building.
