Château de Ker-Stears (Façade Sud)

The history of the castle grounds Coeur Stears comes from the English industrialist John Burnett-Stears. He arrives in Brest, to build a plant near the harbor for the city gas lighting. On a cliff top overlooking the bay, he builds his first house in 1846, followed by a second in 1854. When he died, his son is building a castle in the Gothic style in 1894, stands to this day.
