Rillly la Montagne is one of the oldest village of the Champagne region. Backing onto the mountain of Rheims and overlooking vineyards, Rilly la Montagne has kept its character and traditions of a small Champagne village.Picture represents a "Gué", which is an artificial pond, with a gentle slope on one side usually approximately 1 meter deep , for horses to have access. It was used for horse drinking and refreshing.
