At the beginning of the XIII century, one of the residents received from the King the right to collect tax from selling fish at the local market, Les Halles. Part of his wealth was commissioned to build a small chapel of St. Agnes. In 1233 on the site of this chapel we decided to build the church of St. Eustace, the holy relics which soon put right there. Thus began a long history of the church building, reconstruction and rehabilitation after the revolutions and fires.
