Date: 23.08.1899.Mons Meg («Mons Meg") - a heavy bombard one of the few surviving forged tools of the XV century. Origin implements vague, though, most likely, the gun was made on the orders of Philip III the Good, duke of Burgundy, in 1449, and 8 years later presented them as a gift to the King of Scotland Jacob II. With the caliber of 520 mm, the "Mons Meg" is one of the world's largest cannons, using stone core. Currently located at Edinburgh Castle (Edinburgh, Scotland). In currently stands at the other carriage.
